Meet the Architect
Terry LaGree is Vice President of Barbaron Inc. and is responsible
for customer relations as the liaison with owners and
architects as well as the design division of the business.
Terry joined Barbaron in 1995 bringing with him over twenty
five years experience in golf operation, construction,
management, marketing and sales. Terry is a graduate of the
University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Landscape
Architecture and is a registered Landscape Architect in the
State of Florida. His widely sought after talents are
utilized on each and every job, working in conjunction with
owners and designers alike.
Terry has designed some outstanding well known golf courses starting with Royal Oaks Golf Club in Ocala Florida (1997). The Short Course at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto Florida (1999), Diamond Player Club "Florida's Mountain Golf Course" Clermont Florida (1999) the spectacular Sky View Golf Course at Citrus Hills in Hernando Florida (2000), along with Pennbrooke Fairways in Leesburg Florida (2001). In 2005 and 2006 Terry designed the breathtaking Jack Frost National Golf Course at Big Boulder, in Blakeslee Pennsylvania.

Design-Build
With the considerable talents of Terry LaGree, Barbaron has specialized over the years in the” Design-Build” of projects. All of the above listed new course projects were built by Barbaron. This design-build concept has saved our customers many dollars in construction costs and construction time, which translates to opening sooner and creating cash flow.
Renovation and Redesign
When it comes time to renovate a golf course why not take the opportunity to enhance it as well. Over the years Terry has designed and Barbaron has completed many, many rebuilds of greens, tees, bunkers, lakes, driving ranges and entire course renovations. (See our projects listing)
